ECO-FRIENDLY HOMES

Why choose an eco-friendly panel house?

Panel houses have many advantages that make them attractive to a wide range of homebuyers.

  • Firstky, the construction of a panel house is very fast. Panel houses are assembled in the factory and delivered to the site ready for installation, so your new house could be ready to move into within weeks.
  • Secondly, quality control is higherbecause prefabricated houses are produced under controlled conditions in a factory, so their quality is more uniform compared to traditional construction methods, which can be affected by weather and other factors.
  • Thirdly, panel houses are highly efficient. They are well insulated and airtight, ensuring lower heating and cooling bills and less environmental impact.

In addition, our panel houses are organic. Panel construction leaves less waste and uses less material than traditional construction. In addition, panel houses are made from sustainable materials. For these reasons, panel houses are an excellent choice for people who care about the environment and want to live in a green house.

ADVANTAGES

Advantages of panel houses

Load-bearing wooden structures are impregnated with fire-resistant materials, so our wall panels meet all the requirements of fire safety in the Republic of Lithuania. Wooden structures are more resistant to fire than metal ones. Many people are surprised to learn this, because they think that wooden houses are highly flammable and that a timber-framed house in itself has an increased risk. However, a properly constructed house, using quality materials, will reduce the likelihood of fire.

Airtightness of a panel house is ensured by hermetically sealing all seams in the vapour and wind barrier films (see "panel sealing"), both around the windows and doors and at the panel joints. The tightness achieved in the factory results in better thermal resistance properties. Sealed panel houses have lower heating costs because the extracted heat does not escape outside. This is usually the case with brick houses, which are not only not as tight as frame houses but are also much more difficult to heat. Nowadays, building a cost-effective house is a priority. Many people want houses that are cheap to maintain. Framed houses are just that.

Built with certified wood, a panelled house is built to last. It does not deform under load and, if properly maintained and operated, can last around 150 years, according to official data. Panel houses are environmentally friendly. In particular, repairing such houses will often look like a simple tidy-up, as it is not demanding. However, due to humidity and direct sunlight, it is recommended to repaint the house at least once every 2-3 years. In this case, it will serve you well for a long time.

The wood and insulation materials used in the wall panels provide good thermal insulation. Such buildings require much less energy to heat, which reduces heating costs. Timber-framed houses - as we have already mentioned - have excellent insulation properties, so they provide excellent protection against both outside sounds and heat escaping to the outside. And with additional heating, you'll feel great even on the coldest days.

Now it is easier and faster than ever to turn your dream vision into reality. In just one month, the foundation of your timber-framed house will be built. No other house can be built so quickly. For our team, it is very important to meet the customer's needs, both in terms of time and money.

Alongside the economy, ecology is also important to many modern people. By choosing this way of building your home, you will be doing your bit to conserve nature. Framed houses make the most of the resources needed to build them. This means that there is virtually no waste that is thrown away or harms the environment in any way.

Interior and exterior finishes can be designed to suit even the most sophisticated customers. Timber-framed houses are highly praised because a wide variety of materials that can be used to create their interior finishes. Thus, these houses are functional and will meet the needs of every customer.

Panel houses are distinguished by the fact that they "breathe", creating the perfect microclimate for your home. So your home will be warm and dry during the winter. Even chilly days will be pleasant in a timber-framed house. Very hot summer days will be pleasantly cool, as the wooden facade will protect the house from direct sunlight. Thus, the construction of a timber-framed house guarantees a perfect climate in your home at any time of the year.

In Lithuania, there is still a myth that wooden houses require a lot of maintenance and are short-lived. This misconception can best be refuted by people who have been living in quality timber-framed houses for many years. These houses are quick to build and have a long service life. Timber-framed or panel houses should be repainted every five to six years. As the surface (facade) of the house is smooth, painting is simple and there is no need to hire specialists. It is also useful to coat the surface of a timber-framed house with a special anti-humidity material before applying the paint. This will give the panelled house extra protection.

TECHNOLOGY

Structure of wall panels

Panel (frame) houses are built from factory-prepared wall panels, with or without external and internal finishes (according to the customer's wishes). The exterior wall segments are manufactured using an external finish, wind isolation and insulation materials. Internal walls are divided into load-bearing and standard partitions, which are installed where there is no need to take over the structural loads. The load-bearing wall elements are assembled with gypsum plasterboard and thermal/sound isolation to meet all technical standards and requirements. Ventilation, door and window openings shall be cut in the panels. Windows and doors can be installed at the factory if necessary. Panels for floor-to-floor overlays are also produced. The completed set of wall panels is transported to the construction site specified by the client. All Ecodomus UAB products are covered by business liability insurance.

FAQ on panel houses

A panel house is a house made up of panels that are manufactured in a factory and then assembled on site. These panels are often made with finishes, insulation and electrical wiring, making the installation process faster and more efficient.

The load-bearing structure of a panel house consists of the timber frame, which is the main element that ensures the stability and durability of the house. The frame is carefully designed and manufactured in the production workshop using natural materials such as high-quality, eco-friendly wood. The frame is filled with a variety of special building materials that meet different functional requirements: wind, moisture, ventilation and insulation protection.

All our panel walls, roofs and slabs are carefully assembled in our production facility, where they are of high quality and precision. This production process allows us to ensure not only the precise assembly of the piece, but also the optimal use of materials. It also means that on-site installation work is faster, reducing construction time and environmental impact.

A natural, quick-to-build, high-quality, sturdy and safe panel house is durable and warm. Panel houses have the advantage of being able to last more than 100 years without any complicated repairs or serious maintenance requirements.
